Baseball Game Preview: Columbia City Eagles vs. Carroll Chargers

Columbia City hasn't had much luck against Carroll recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out to challenge the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Carroll took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Columbia City, who comes in off a win.

Columbia City's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They put the hurt on Plymouth with a sharp 12-0 win.

Henry Kneller was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Berry, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Carroll didn't have quite enough to beat Noblesville on Saturday and fell 7-5.

Braden Christlieb was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Eli Neuhouser also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Carroll now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Columbia City, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
