Softball Recap: Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Wins Going Away Against New Berlin

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt New Berlin on Monday. Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia put the hurt on New Berlin with a sharp 16-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their two-run performance the match before.

Mylee Tracy made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Tracy was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Lucie Dion was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Gabby Myers was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
