It was a proper cat-fight when Ellsworth took on Lyons on Saturday. The Bearcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lions. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16.

Alexis Moore paced Ellsworth's offense, picking up seven kills. Moore got some help from Reagan Hansen and her 11 assists.

Ellsworth's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Lyons, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18-1.

Ellsworth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Minneapolis on the 30th. Lyons has also already played their next matchup (against Sacred Heart), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
