Preview: Selinsgrove Seals vs. Aliquippa Quips
Selinsgrove is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Aliquippa is on a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Selinsgrove Seals will take on the Aliquippa Quips at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Selinsgrove had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 44-14 victory over Juniata at home. Selinsgrove might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 11 matches by 25 points or more this season.
Selinsgrove's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mark Pastore, who threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Teats, who gained 99 total yards and three touchdowns.
