Football Recap: Vernonia Takes a Loss

Vernonia was the 30-6 winner over Oakridge when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Loggers had to suffer through a 40-6 loss at the hands of the Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Loggers have lost by exactly 34 points.

Vernonia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oakridge, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vernonia will take on Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakridge, they will square off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
