Basketball Recap: Gloucester Comes Up Short

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Gloucester was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Denbigh Patriots, falling 57-29. The Dukes lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 103-23 score last time.

Gloucester's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Denbigh, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gloucester will square off against Warwick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Denbigh, they will challenge Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hampton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season.
