Basketball Game Preview: Fannin County Rebels vs. Christian Heritage Lions

The Fannin County Rebels and the Christian Heritage Lions will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Fannin County is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since December 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Armuchee, sneaking past 66-64.

Meanwhile, Christian Heritage waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolverines 85-49. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Christian Heritage's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for Fannin County, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Fannin County might still be hurting after the 68-45 loss they got from Christian Heritage in their previous meeting back in December of 2020. Can Fannin County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
