Umatilla fell victim to Elmira and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 16-0 bruising from the Falcons. The game marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Umatilla now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Elmira, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Umatilla will venture away from home to take on Burns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Hilanders have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Elmira, they will head out to challenge Pleasant Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Billies will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
