Basketball Recap: West Broward Bobcats vs. Stranahan Mighty Dragons
West Broward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 84-48 loss at the hands of the Stranahan Mighty Dragons. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-21.
West Broward lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alvin Albert -Viala, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points and four steals. Bedirhan Menguc was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 11 points.
Damari Foster went supernova for Stranahan, putting up 18 points and four steals. Foster's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Nealy, who posted 18 points.
