Softball Game Preview: Central Valley Bears vs. Shadle Park Highlanders

Central Valley hasn't had much luck against Shadle Park recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Highlanders at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Central Valley is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game last Thursday. They lost 18-1 to Mt. Spokane.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Shadle Park's offense. They came up short against Mt. Spokane on Friday, falling 15-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Shadle Park, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went Central Valley's way against Shadle Park in their previous meeting back in April of 2018, as Central Valley made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
