Basketball Game Preview: McMullen County Cowboys vs. Brookeland Wildcats

The McMullen County Cowboys will face off against the Brookeland Wildcats on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as McMullen County comes in on four and Brookeland on 14.

McMullen County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Richards by a score of 40-32.

Jonesboro typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Brookeland proved too difficult a challenge. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 111-34. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Brookeland's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 99.8 points over those games. As for McMullen County, their victory bumped their record up to 29-9.
