After a week in which it went 1-0, Alleman jumped from 2632 to 2379 in the national rankings, the biggest increase in the league. The Pioneers are currently No. 119 in the state of Illinois, with an overall record of 10-6.

Rock Island's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 23 hits and eight walks to lead the league in both categories. The Rocks have given up a mere 282 hits on the year, while striking out 160 opposing hitters. Matt Erickson is the leader in that category with 50 Ks on the season.
