Softball Recap: Amherst-Pelham Regional Takes a Loss

Amherst-Pelham Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Westfield Technical Academy Tigers, falling 28-9.

Amherst-Pelham Regional saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Corinne Charlebois, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Charlebois is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another was Ava Eddy, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Amherst-Pelham Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for Westfield Technical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-6-1.

Coincidentally, Amherst-Pelham Regional and Westfield Technical Academy will both be playing Mount Everett Regional the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Hurricanes will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
