Basketball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

Fairfield was the 53-30 winner over McClain when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fairfield Lions took a hard 70-56 fall against the McClain Tigers on Tuesday. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Fairfield's record now sits at 10-5. As for McClain, they moved to 7-8 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Fairfield will take on Fayetteville-Perry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McClain, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the McClain Tigers face off against the Miami Trace Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Miami Trace will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something McClain surely won't give up without a fight.
