Volleyball Recap: White County Comes Up Short

White County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Smyrna Bulldogs. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

White County was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Smyrna work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-21, 25-22.

White County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Smyrna, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. White County is set to take on their familiar foe Cookeville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Smyrna will challenge rival Stewarts Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
