Volleyball Recap: Albert Lea Comes Up Short

Albert Lea lost against Winona back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winhawks.

Albert Lea has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season. As for Winona, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-16.

Looking ahead, Albert Lea will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Wing at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Winona has already played their next contest (against Wabasha-Kellogg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
