Basketball Recap: Hanover Victorious

While Hanover didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 60-52 win over the Armstrong Wildcats on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Hanover and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Armstrong, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hanover will square off against Atlee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hanover knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Atlee likes a good challenge. As for Armstrong, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Thomas Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Thomas Jefferson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
