Basketball Game Preview: Gilmer County Titans vs. Roane County Raiders

Two dominant guards in Jacob Mick and Cam Cumpston are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Gilmer County Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Roane County Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gilmer County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.

Gilmer County lost 66-44 to Wahama on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the White Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Zachariah Wine, who posted eight points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kolten Holbert, who scored ten points and six boards.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Roane County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 54-43 win over Calhoun on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Gilmer County's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Roane County, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
