Basketball Recap: Glades Central Comes Up Short

Glades Central extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 4-7. They took a 92-80 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (71), the Raiders still had to take the loss.

As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Devin McLntyre continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 69% from the field en route to 27 points along with eight assists and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 53% in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Rodriguez, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 22 points and eight rebounds.

Glades Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 51-41 defeat against Coconut Creek on the 5th. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they have also already played their next matchup, a 70-46 victory against Northeast on the 5th.
