Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parker). They took down the Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles 62-44 on Monday. This was payback for the Broncs, who suffered a 57-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Bourgade Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Nizhoni Rainbolt posted 21 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyra Williams, who put up eight points and seven rebounds.

The win got Parker back to even at 7-7. As for Bourgade Catholic, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parker will challenge River Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. River Valley has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with ten straight losses, while Parker will come in with four straight victories. As for Bourgade Catholic, they will face off against Benjamin Franklin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bourgade Catholic is facing Benjamin Franklin at the right time seeing as Benjamin Franklin is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
