Volleyball Recap: Albert Lea Comes Up Short

Albert Lea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Waseca Bluejays. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Albert Lea's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Waseca, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.

Albert Lea wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Worthington on the 20th. As for Waseca, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Austin on the 20th.
