Baseball Game Preview: Golden Valley Bulldogs vs. Foothill Trojans

Golden Valley hasn't had much luck against Foothill recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will host the Trojans at 4:00 p.m.

Golden Valley is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Tehachapi, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Foothill, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Arvin by a score of 10-6 on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Carlos Ruano, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Conrado Machuca was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Foothill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Golden Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17-1.
