While Eastern Christian put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Secaucus. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.
Avery Conrad tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Allison VandeVrede was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Alina Ellis was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Eastern Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
