Baseball Recap: Sipsey Valley Takes a Loss

Sipsey Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Itawamba Agricultural Indians.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Itawamba Agricultural, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5.

Sipsey Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Gordo on the 13th. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they have also already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against Oxford on the 12th.
