Baseball Recap: New Haven Takes a Loss

After flying high against Van Wert on Monday, New Haven came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Norwell Knights on Tuesday, falling 10-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Norwell, their record now sits at 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Haven will square off against Columbia City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norwell, they will take on Adams Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Flying Jets have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
