Paige Murray put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Wednesday. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Murray and St. Charles North will take on Glenbard North at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Murray had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in April 4-3. If she drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
