Baseball Recap: St. Paul's Takes a Loss

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sam Houston Broncos, falling 15-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wolves were not able to get on the board.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Sam Houston, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul's will take on Central Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sam Houston, they will challenge DeRidder at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Sam Houston's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while DeRidder has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
