Baseball Recap: Shawnee Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McAlester, Shawnee was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tecumseh Savages a 12-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolves needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Shawnee's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Tecumseh, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Shawnee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Savages: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
