Basketball Game Preview: Maplesville Red Devils vs. Breakthrough Charter + Official Tickets

The Maplesville Red Devils will take on Breakthrough Charter in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Maplesville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Maplesville got the win against Ellwood Christian by a conclusive 67-43.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maplesville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ty Bailey, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 16 points along with five assists and three steals. Those three steals gave Bailey a new career-high. Nehemiah Mccary was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Breakthrough Charter earned a 54-45 win over Billingsley on Thursday.

Maplesville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Breakthrough Charter, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Maplesville against Breakthrough Charter in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 61-27 victory. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do Breakthrough Charter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
