Volleyball Recap: Frontier Regional Falls to Amherst-Pelham Regional in First Game of Season

Frontier Regional unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes on Tuesday. The Red Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-16.

Greta Hale paced Frontier Regional's offense, picking up five kills. Hale got some help from Cadence Martin and her nine assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Coincidentally, Frontier Regional and Amherst-Pelham Regional will both be playing Longmeadow the next time they take the court. The Hurricanes will host the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Hawks will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
