Basketball Game Preview: Leto Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Tech Titans

Leto hasn't had much luck against Tampa Bay Tech recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Leto Falcons will challenge the Tampa Bay Tech Titans at 8:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Leto came up short against Sickles on Tuesday, falling 85-60. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 527th, while the Gryphons are ranked 181st).

Meanwhile, Tampa Bay Tech entered their tilt with King on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Lions 68-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Titans have posted against the Lions since January 24, 2020.

Leto better keep an eye on Evan Clark. He was instrumental in Tampa Bay Tech's win, going 9 of 15 on his way to 24 points. The match was Clark's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Javon Russel, who went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points.

Leto's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Tampa Bay Tech, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
