Soccer Game Preview: Geraldine vs. Collinsville

The Geraldine Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Collinsville Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Geraldine will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

Geraldine barely beat Glencoe the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Yellowjackets 7-2 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Collinsville made sure to put some goals up on the board against Whitesburg Christian Academy on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 10-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Aaron Herrera as he scored three goals for his team.

Collinsville's win bumped their record up to 13-2-1. As for Geraldine, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-2.

Geraldine might still be hurting after the 6-2 defeat they got from Collinsville in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
