Softball Recap: Medomak Valley Panthers vs. Brunswick Dragons

Medomak Valley can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past the Brunswick Dragons 15-2.

Sidney Nichols spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, Arianna Sproul and Peyton Eaton did most of the damage at the plate: Sproul went 3-for-5 with a home run, six RBI, and two runs, while Eaton scored three runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-4. Eaton has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Kendall Simmons was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Medomak Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Brunswick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
