The matchup between Boyle County and Southwestern on Thursday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Rebels were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for Boyle County, who have now won four matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Boyle County pushed their record up to 5-0-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three games. As for Southwestern, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Boyle County will square off against Taylor County at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwestern, they will take on Garrard County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
