Basketball Recap: Pretty Prairie Starts Season with Victory Against Argonia

Pretty Prairie gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Argonia Raiders as the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs made off with a 46-23 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pretty Prairie was led to victory by Kaylea Robinson and Kayleigh Vogl. Robinson dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, while Vogl posted six points in addition to ten boards and four blocks. The matchup was Robinson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Olivia Nolan, who put up ten points and four steals.

Pretty Prairie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-19 victory against Reno County HomeSchool on the 9th. As for Argonia, they will square off against Udall at 3:30 p.m. on December 13th.
