Volleyball Recap: Scott Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Ethan Tetzel and Maxwell Egersdorfer

Scott suffered their biggest defeat since April 2nd on Friday. They came up short against the Lafayette Generals, falling 3-0. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-7.

Scott's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Maxwell Egersdorfer, who had 12 digs, six kills, and one block, and Ethan Tetzel, who had 13 digs. Egersdorfer is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had five or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Lafayette, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Looking ahead, Scott will square off against North Oldham at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette, they will challenge Tates Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
