Soccer Recap: Westmont Falls Short of Pitman in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westmont can now relate to. They fell just short of the Pitman Pride by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Warriors have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Westmont's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Pitman, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Westmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pitman, they will take on Cardinal Newman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Pitman has won four straight at home, while Cardinal Newman won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
