Basketball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central can now relate to. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westerly Bulldogs on Wednesday. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season. As for Westerly, their record is now 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will welcome Cumberland at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westerly, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against La Salle Academy at 7:00 p.m. La Salle Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Westerly surely won't give up without a fight.
