Volleyball Recap: Revere Extends Winning Streak to Three

Revere barely beat Roosevelt the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Minutemen blew past the Rough Riders 3-0 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

Revere not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Roosevelt between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-19.

Ali Linderbaum paced Revere's offense, picking up eight kills. Linderbaum got some help from Tessa Milicia and her 16 assists. Linderbaum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory was the third in a row for Revere, bringing their record up to 11-3. As for Roosevelt, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Revere is set to take on their familiar foe Aurora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt will challenge rival Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
