Basketball Recap: Father McGivney Catholic Victorious

Father McGivney Catholic hadn't done well against Pana recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Father McGivney Catholic Griffins pulled ahead with a 57-56 photo finish over the Pana Panthers. With that win, the Griffins brought their scoring average up to 50 points per game.

David Carroll was his usual excellent self, going 10 for 14 on his way to 23 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. Owen Kolesa was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.
