Soccer Recap: Irrigon Comes Up Short

Irrigon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trout Lake Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Trout Lake this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 last Saturday.

Irrigon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Trout Lake, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Irrigon will challenge Umatilla at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Trout Lake, they will venture away from home to square off against Portland Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
