League recap: Hulbert throws longest pass in league this season for LaConner

Sean Hulbert and Hudson Zavala provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Seattle Lutheran. The longest such play in 1A/2B Northwest this season, the connection resulted in 70 yards.

Orcas Island took down Chief Leschi 73-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

LaConner's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Braves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hulbert has thrown for 781 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Zavala has 13 catches for 338 yards. Dahlton Zavala leads the league in rushing with 506 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Concrete takes on Tacoma Baptist. At the moment, the Lions are in third, while the Crusaders are in fourth.

The Vikings led 1A/2B Northwest in scoring this week after putting up 73 points on the Warriors.
