Volleyball Recap: Cary Academy Takes a Loss

Cary Academy lost against North Raleigh Christian Academy on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers lost 3-0 to the Knights. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-16.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyla Artlip led the charge by getting 12 digs and four assists.

Cary Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

Cary Academy has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Middle Creek on the 1st. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge St. Mary's at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
