Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Tatum Humphrey stepped things up a notch to give Mooresville the 'W'. Humphrey scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Humphrey's strong effort led Mooresville over Decatur Central and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pioneers are 9-1 against the Hawks going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
