Baseball Recap: Ben Lomond Comes Up Short

Ben Lomond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bonneville Lakers, falling 19-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scots of the 8-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Ben Lomond's record now sits at 0-3. As for Bonneville, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Ben Lomond will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence Hall at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bonneville, they will face off against Fremont at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fremont's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Bonneville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
