Soccer Recap: Pecos Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Pecos, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Big Spring Steers 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-0 back in January.

Pecos' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Big Spring, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Coincidentally, Pecos and Big Spring will both be playing Sweetwater the next time they take the pitch. Big Spring will host Sweetwater at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Pecos will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
