Basketball Recap: Byron Nelson Comes Up Short

After flying high against A&M Consolidated on Thursday, Byron Nelson came back down to earth. The Bobcat took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mansfield Legacy Broncos on Friday.

Byron Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Mansfield Legacy, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Byron Nelson is taking a road trip to take on Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Bobcat their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mansfield Legacy, they will host Keller at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.18 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
