Baseball Recap: Stephenville FAITH's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Stephenville FAITH came into Friday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 39-4 margin over the Hill County Wolves on Friday. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Walker Feemster made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Stephenville FAITH is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-4 otherwise. Feemster was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs.

In other batting news, Stephenville FAITH got a massive performance out of Kyler McCarty, who scored three runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Matthew Gould was another key player, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Stephenville FAITH always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .893. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
