Basketball Recap: Victory Road Christian Academy Drops Season-High Score on Trinity Christian Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Victory Road Christian Academy). They were the clear victor by a 42-20 margin over the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Minutemen.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Betsy Sundahl posted 20 points in addition to five blocks and three steals. Sundahl is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

The win got Victory Road Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Victory Road Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Aurora Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Trinity Christian Academy and Christian Ministries Academy will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
