Basketball Recap: Bible Baptist Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against Bethel Baptist Academy

Bible Baptist Christian kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. The contest between them and the Bethel Baptist Academy Miners didn't end well, with the Bible Baptist Christian Eagles falling 82-63. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Bethel Baptist Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathan Stahl out in front who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 22 boards. Those 27 points gave Stahl a new career-high. Bobby Konstantinidis was another key player, shooting 4-for-4 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds.

The win got Bethel Baptist Academy back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Bible Baptist Christian and Bethel Baptist Academy will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 24, 2025. As for Bethel Baptist Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Harbor at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
